1. Definitions
BeatGridFixer ("we", "us"): the online service for
correcting beat grids in audio files, available at beatgridfixer.com.
User ("you"): any person who uses the service.
2. The service
BeatGridFixer analyzes uploaded audio files and corrects the tempo grid via beat-slicing, without altering the pitch. The service is provided "as is" — we aim for the best possible result but cannot guarantee perfect results on every type of audio.
3. Account and subscriptions
- For paid features you create an account with a valid email address.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential.
- We offer a Free tier (limited) and paid subscriptions (Starter, Pro).
- Subscriptions auto-renew monthly until you cancel.
4. Pricing and payment
- Current prices are listed on our website. Prices are in euros.
- Payments are processed by our payment partner Mollie.
- If a payment fails, your access to paid features may be suspended.
5. Cancellation and refunds
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account page.
- After cancellation you keep access until the end of your paid period.
- Already-used credits are not refunded.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- Process audio you don't have the rights or permission for.
- Abuse, overload, or attempt to circumvent the service.
- Technically bypass the limits of your subscription.
- Use automated scripts without our permission.
In case of abuse we may suspend or terminate your account without refund.
7. Intellectual property
You retain all rights to the audio you upload and the processed output. We claim no rights to your music. The software, website, and algorithm of BeatGridFixer remain our property.
8. Liability
The service is provided without guarantees of a specific result. The correction algorithm works best on music with clear beats (dance, disco, house, hip-hop, funk, pop, Latin) and may yield less accurate results on other genres. We recommend always testing a track for free first.
We are not liable for indirect damages, lost income, or data loss. Our liability is in all cases limited to the amount you paid us in the last 3 months.
9. Availability
We aim for high availability of the service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, outages, or force majeure may temporarily make the service unavailable.
10. Changes
We may update these terms and the service from time to time. For material changes we'll notify you by email. The most current version is always on this page.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be brought before the competent court in the Netherlands.
