BeatGridFixer respects your privacy and handles your personal data carefully. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who we are

BeatGridFixer is an online service for correcting beat grids in audio files, available at beatgridfixer.com. For questions or requests: support@beatgridfixer.com.

2. What data we collect

Account data: your email address and an encrypted password.
Payment data: processed via our payment partner Mollie. We do not store credit card or bank details ourselves.
Uploaded audio: the music files you upload for processing.
Usage data: how many tracks you process, to apply your subscription limit.
Technical data: IP address and browser type, for security and abuse prevention.

3. What we use your data for

To deliver the service (process your tracks).
To manage your account and subscription.
To process payments via Mollie.
To prevent abuse and fraud.
To help you with support questions.

4. How long we keep your data

Uploaded audio files: automatically deleted within 1 hour after processing.
Processed output files: available for 24 hours, then deleted.
Account data: kept as long as you have an account. Deleted when you delete your account.
Payment records (invoices): 7 years, per legal retention requirements.

5. Who we share data with

We only share your data with parties necessary to deliver the service:

Mollie — payment processing
Railway — application hosting
Hostinger — website hosting

We never sell your data to third parties.

6. Cookies

We only use functional cookies needed to keep you logged in and to make the service work. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

Access your data.
Have your data corrected or deleted.
Delete your account entirely.
File a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Send a request to support@beatgridfixer.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We protect your data with encryption (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access control. Should a data breach occur despite this, we'll report it as required by law.

9. Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The most current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
